Old song, I know. It was my favorite song the Spice Girls ever did. It's still one of my favorite songs, though in a more nostalgic way now, I guess.
Anyway. Halloween was kind of a let down. I don't know why I let things let me down so much, but I always do.
Halloween was always the night I spent celebrating with friends. I still spent it with friends, but they're not THE friends. These friends don't hold Halloween so important...it's hard to explain.
So I ended up leaving everyone's festivities early and honoring the passage of another year (Halloween, if you didn't know, is the Celtic New Year, and as such it's the one I celebrate, being the pagan that I am). I did a couple of tarot reading. Never have I had my cards read so clearly. It was a bit interesting.
We had an earthquake last week. I kinda wished it had been stronger. I'm probably the only one who did, but I'm weird like that. Personally, I find earthquakes to be fun. They just kind of scare the shit out of most people I know, though.
It's officially National Novel Writing Month. I'm up to almost 5000 words, and I hate most of what I've written. Oh, well, 'tis life, I suppose.
Anyway, I figured I should update this. Hope all is well with you, or at least improving since I know some of you are having a difficult time.
